Roseville, CA  (April 3, 2017) – The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) announces the next location for its Leadership Immersion program, offering one-of-kind visits with best in class retailers. The Next Generation members of HFA have the opportunity to apply and qualify for the new Leadership Immersion Experience program planned June 20-22, 2017 at the headquarters of Hudson’s Furniture, Sanford, FL.

 

The two and one-half day program features an agenda developed to showcase the finely tuned operations of this top 100 retailer.   With visits to the distribution center, corporate headquarters, and a local retail storefront, attendees will have exclusive access to Hudson’s executives and key staff members. “We are excited to have the chance to give back to the industry.  When I was a young executive, I would have loved to have had an opportunity like the NGN Leadership Immersion Experience.” Says Josh Hudson, “I know I’m going to learn from them too!”

 

The association has previously conducted the program at RC Willey, UT, El Dorado Furniture, FL, and most recently in January 2017, American Furniture Warehouse, Colorado, giving young retailers unprecedented access to their teams and operations. “This experience is a few days packed with years of knowledge from industry leaders that have experienced the same hurdles, successes, and changing end consumer.  This program is one that every young professional in the industry should get involved in.  It’s a must do!  Companies like these are speaking gold and handing you keys to the kingdom in your territory!” states Bijan Lalji, Lalji Home, Coquitlam, BC.
