Home Furnishings Association member La-Z-Boy is being honored with a “Making An Impact 2020 Award of Excellence” from the Association for Supply Chain Management.
Each year, ASCM, a nonprofit association that supports organizational transformation, innovation and leadership in supply chain management, gives recognition to businesses that it determines are exemplary.
La-Z-Boy was selected for the award for its commitment to safety performance, environmental sustainability and involvement in the communities in which it operates, including the company’s philanthropic ventures and volunteer initiatives.
Darrell Edwards, a senior vice resident and chief operating officer, said receiving the award is an honor for the company.
“While our commitment to crafting products that meet or exceed industry standards for quality and safety is of supreme significance, we are equally committed to the environment and integrating sustainable business practices throughout our operations,” he said.
