Congratulations on making that sale. Now comes the hard part: Getting that sofa into your customer’s living room quickly, correctly and inexpensively to you.
The right logistics technology can help you make that transaction from sale to delivery – and every step in between – a seamless one for you and the customer.
“Like it or not we live in an Amazon world,” says Brian Robinson of STORIS. “We don’t need to be Amazon Prime, but our customers perspectives are shaped by Amazon Prime. Retailers need to know that. They also need to know the technologies on the market that can deliver that quick, painless experience the customer is expecting.”
Robinson will highlight those technologies during a seminar at 10:30 a.m. on April 6 in the association’s Resource Center at High Point Market.

The seminar, “Put the Right Logistics Technology to Work for Your Customers” will briefly touch on all the technologies available to retailers during a customer’s journey – from point of sale to inventory management to delivery tracking and everything in between.
Seventy-five percent of customers want a specific day and time marked for delivery when they make a purchase, says Robinson. “They want that control and retailers can give it to them,” says Robinson.
The Home Furnishings Association’s Resource Center is on the first floor of Plaza Suites, 222 S. Main Street in High Point.
