Sarah is the Director of Talent and Employee Experience with Homestrends LLC. In her role, she focuses on creating opportunities for employees to reach their greatest potential through motivating work tasks, innovative learning experiences, and building meaningful relationships within the organization. Hometrends LLC owns and operates Ashley Furniture HomeStores in Kearney, Grand Island, and North Platte, Nebraska, as well as Retail and E-commerce.

Simon Watson – Owner/CEO, Mosswood HR Solutions LLC

Simon started his career in his native UK in process management and IT, and after 11 years, he followed his interest in people into organization development, HR, and recruiting management positions in major corporations. There, he has applied a process-oriented and business-focused approach to create and implement people strategies in companies of all sizes and industries, including retail, in-home design sales, transportation/warehousing, telecoms, medical, and restaurants/catering.  He has been employed in and consulted with companies as diverse as 3 Day Blinds, Nortel, Lufthansa Service Group, Continental Airlines, The LA County Museum of Art, and FreshOne Distribution Services.  Simon has been focused on delivering independent recruiting and related consulting services since 2016 and is the owner and CEO of Mosswood HR Solutions LLC.

Fanaye Taye – SVP of HR, Synchrony Home & Auto

Fanaye Taye is the Senior Vice President of HR for the Synchrony Home & Auto platform. Fanaye supports Curtis Howse, Home & Auto EVP, CEO, and the H&A senior leadership team in this role. Before her current role, Fanaye was the CHRO at Kirkland’s Home, a home decor furniture company in 35 states with over 360 stores and 5,000 employees. In that role, Fanaye supported the CEO and C-Suite of Kirkland’s Home. Fanaye was responsible for the organization’s overall human resources functions, including implementing new programs such as DEI, Well-Being, Employee Assistance, and Employee Surveys.
