Discover what sets Raymour & Flanigan apart as the leading furniture retailer in the northeast United States. From receiving awards to being named the 2024 Home Furnishings Association’s Retailer of the Year, find out why they were honored and what makes them stand out.
On March 18th, the Home Furnishings Association presented the award to company president Seth Goldberg in their Liverpool, NY store, and it was the first indication of what makes Raymour & Flanigan special and why judges felt they deserved the honor.

There is a strong company culture that collectively celebrates every win and every success they have. It makes sense when you understand that Raymour & Flanigan place a premium on their team members’ growth.
The Raymour & Flanigan Learning & Development Institute (LDI) was established in 2006 and exemplifies a long-term commitment to learning from the company’s owners to ongoing professional development. The programs are designed to enhance skills, foster personal growth, and inspire associates to take on new challenges and responsibilities. No wonder their retention rate is much higher than that of competitors.

There is also a focus on community outreach, social responsibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Raymour & Flanigan’s mission statement states, “Treat our people well, and they will treat our customers well.” Their recipe for success is built on 77 years of strong family leadership and history, which is why they earned the 2024 HFA Retailer of the Year (over 50 employees).
